Late 19th/early 20th Century Bamboo Work Box

A superb and rare example of this increasingly sought after style of Furniture of the Late 19th/early 20th Century Bamboo Work Box.  The upper section has a hinged lid opening to reveal satin, buttoned interior work box above a lower tier fronted by a fall-front dropping to form a "table" top and further storage area/cupboard  with an open bamboo tier below suported by shaped legs, the top, front and sides having good, hand-decorated and lacquered panel decoration, the whole in superb order and condition although the (original) satin interior lining is showing signs of wear and use.
