Late 19th/early 20th Century Bamboo Etage/Magazine Rack

A late 19th/early 20th Century Bamboo Etage/Magazine Rack, the upper tier having mirrored glass back and good hand painted, japanned lacquered decoration depicting floral/star pattern with two fans depicting birds, the lower tier simarily decorated with a floral/pattern design and bird in flight, above a three compartment magazine/newspaper rack with, again, well painted and presented japanned decoration as viewed. Brass/pressed gilt "buttons" top the bamboo ends to the upper section.

 A superb example and in great condition of this type of increasingly rare and sought after furniture.
