A pair of 17th Century carved Oak panels

A pair of well carved, 17th  Century wall  hanging oak Carvings each depicting from the top, a pair of beaked birds abve a  figure  clutching what appears to be a handled tool (possibly a mallet) and dressed in high collared jacket mounted on a decorative stand with berry and foliate carving below, terminating in further carved decoration, the whole standing approx 34.25 ins (87cms) high x 3ins (7.5cms) wide x 3ins (7.5cms) deep.

Excellent colour and patination throughout.
